Calendar categories are a helpful organization tool for calendar events.
Is an event only for women? Is there an age restriction on who may attend this event? If you add categories to your event, and add colors to your categories, viewers can tell at a glance what category each event fits into.
Your calendar can have much more color even than this! From Calendar in the Church Admin menu, click on Category List.
There is no limit to the categories you can create! Just click on Add a category.
Give your category a name, e.g. Women, Youth, All.
Add a color either by entering a color code or selecting the color from the color wheel. Click Add category at the bottom.
Back at Calendar Categories, you can edit or delete categories you have made.
When you add or edit a calendar event, you can select the category suitable for that event.
