Post Announcements and News

Announcements and News are categorized as the same thing and are under Posts. Posts are not a part of Church Admin plugin, you will find them at the top of the WordPress menu.

Click on Posts in the WordPress menu.

Click Add New.

In WordPress a post is almost exactly the same in creation as a a page.

All you need to do is to fill out is the title and write something for the body. You can also add images.
You can use a date from the past and it will be posted as if you had posted it back then, or you can put in a future date and it will be posted on that date. When you are done click Publish.
